How it works:
The instrument automatically takes out a small milk sample during milking on a DeLaval automatic milking robot. The milk is analyzed through lateral flow technology to determine progesterone concentrations. By combining the data in advanced biological models these hormone levels combined with other cow data reveal key fertility markers such as ovulation, heat, and pregnancy status
Reproduction Performance RePro (RPR) is a cutting-edge software application within the DeLaval Plus suite. It leverages advanced biological modeling techniques to analyze progesterone data from the Herd Navigator 100 and delivers key herd-level insights. These insights serve as decision support tools, enabling dairy producers to optimize reproductive performance.
This allows for improving both overall herd productivity and animal welfare.
